ANDREW ZUBIRI is a Filipino writer whose essays have appeared in AGNIVirginia Quarterly ReviewThe Threepenny Review, Ninth Letter, and other publications. He is at work on an essay collection exploring migration, identity, and the tension between home and diaspora.

For over a decade, he worked in the environment and agriculture sectors of international development organizations including the UN Food and Agriculture Organization and the World Bank. He now works in educational technology and instructional design. Born and raised in the Philippines, he has lived in Germany and the US, and currently resides in Munich.
